Conditions look good and for once, I'm not playing around in the springs. Who wants to dive? Surf report says water temps around 71F and shin high waves(glassy).

Whiskey and the wheeler were brown so we headed to Alabama Point and were greeted delightfully with a crisp 5-8' of visibility. Had a new diver with us so we poked around slowly maybe halfway down the jetty. 23' max depth for 39 minutes. I used 1000psi.

Lots of juvy flounder and one legal.

Thanks for the report, and many apologies again for tanking the weekend's plans I cleared up mid-day Sunday.

My next weekends are 26/27 and May 3/4, and it's gonna take something major for me not to get some dives in on one of those two weekends!

I ordered a stainless prop in anticipation of my next boating trip.

By any chance did you see any tropical’s worth putting in an home fish tank? Mine is in desperate need of replenishing, I'm guessing it might be a bit to early yet huh?

Saw a couple wrasse, some half dollar sized flounders, nothing particularly interesting to be honest. :/

I'm guessing another month and you'll have much better pickins!

I'll be in Gulf Shores at the end of the month (27-1). I was hoping to get in some diving while i was there, but since i am coming during the week, it looks like the pickin' as slim from the local dive ops. If any of you guys wanna hook while i am down there, pm me.
