which strobe?

Hello people.
I have aquired an Oly c5060 wz with an ikelite housing,i also own a c7070wz which fits the same housing. I am utterly confused about getting a strobe for this outfit. Is there any special connections,will any strobe suffice,are some strobes self powered?????????
Could somebody please point me in the right direction. I imagine a tray would be needed also. I am based in Europe(if that makes any difference).

Yes, No, the better Q might be "are any strobes NOT self powered." I suggest you use the computer you post with to find some related web pages to read and look at so you can figure out the right questions to ask.

My tuff love will probably be for naught 'cause some proud know-it-all will probably follow with a long winded post starting from the very basics (that you would actually remember if you researched on your own) to way more information than you either need or are capable of understanding.

Dear Halomano.Thankyou for taking the time to write that which is percieved as being very close to an insult. Did you have a bad day or something? I am sorry to say that i do have difficulty understanding the jargon that the "in the know" people use and maybe i am a bit simple, but i do try to be polite.... Thanks again!
