which side of the island is electric beach (kahe pt) located? We always say west. I only ask because according to the news forcast for wave heights today it was suppose to be 2-4 ft. and online it said the face size was suppose to be 2-5 ft. Well, we decided to dive Electric Beach and when we got there it was flat to 1ft. South swells were suppose to be 1-2 so we are now undecided which part of the island E. beach is on. Great day to dive!!! One turtle at the end of the pipe and one turtle (minus one front flipper/leg/foot??) at the mouth of the entry point. There were a couple eels and a super small (2-3 inch) scorpionfish. Plenty of regular fish on the pipe and everywhere. Haven't been out in over a month (and FRUMPY in over 4 months). I think we both need to hit the gym before we go back to 2 tank dives.

I wonder if that's the same turtle nicknamed "Tripod" that I always used to see over at Makaha Caverns. Unusually inquisitive - once she (I was told the turtle was a "she", I can't tell) swam up slowly and we bumped noses. Well, her beak to my mask lens. Kind of freaked me out and I kicked backwards pretty fast. I was told later by the DM that she does it often - they surmised she liked the reflection or something from the mask lens.

It's called the west side but it is a south west exposure.
