I posted this question several months ago but got all kinds of conflicting answers so I'll give it a go again:

The mouthpiece on my Atomic Z2 is somewhat stiff and can be a bit uncomfortable. I'd like to get the SeaCure mouthpiece. That's the one that costs $20-$25 and allows you to "customize" the mouthpiece by heating it in water so it fits your "bite" optimally. I have heard very good reviews of the SeaCure. I know that there are mouthpieces available connected to a "swivel-ball" but I'm not interested in those.

I bought my Z2 right around 2 years ago (I had gotten some feedback that older models might require a different size mouthpiece). By "different size" I'm referring to the "neck" of the mouthpiece.

Someone else had suggested some workaround but I don't want to mess with that as I have to believe that there MUST be a specific sized Seacure mouthpiece to fit my Atomic Z2 reg..

Any advice/comments will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Sy

SeaCure I should work. A word to the wise, if you are going to a Long Hose/Short Hose Config then it is not recommended (can cause your receiver to gag). If you are staying with a conventional setup then these are great.

We have them In Stock, here is the link:

Sy, You are correct - the older Atomics were a different size. Around 2005, Atomic started enlarging the orifice of their regs. Any that were manufactured after that date are their larger version and use a SeaCure II (our largest size).

I am sorry that I didn't see your question sooner. If you have a question in the future, post it in our manufacturer section, check our website, SeaCure > Home or call us.
