I need to thin the herd more. I have 2 sets, want to keep one. Mk11 with 2 c370 seconds or diverite XT4 advanced set. I mostly travel to dive. Scuba pro is lighter, XT4 set does pack small. Both are new, what to keep?

Just going to say, Mark 11 and C370 all day for the win. Because down deep ------- ;).

Why thin the herd [as you put it] , keep both, never know when you need another regulator [or two].
My 'herd' is breeding stock. 😊

As @Pressurehead said, two sets is a breeding pair, not a herd. When you run out of fingers and toes to count them is when to starting thinking about considering to maybe get rid of some.
Some of us guys can count to 21. Just not always in public.

I wouldn't bother getting rid of any unless you really need to free up space. It is really nice to be able to stagger your regulator servicing and always be able to dive. I dive local and regularly so to give up my regs for service would mean no diving, sometimes for a month or 2. It also means you have a spare if something goes wrong when setting up your gear.

which appendage has 6 digits
It's the sole, central appendage. The one that causes trouble when you whip it out in public.

To get back on topic .. it can be very handy to have a second set of regs. Either to stagger servicing as @DrakeTheDiver suggested, or to have a spare set if there is an issue with your other set (or your buddy's). If I'm diving locally, I always have a spare set in the car, and if I'm traveling I'll usually take at the very least a spare first and second stage (no hoses) if I'm stretched for luggage space/weight).

If you can't be convinced to keep both, the deciding factor other than personal preference is probably availability of local servicing for each brand.
