Another wa option to consider-
We offer Athena Glass Dome Ports here in the US, and they are a great alternative to Sea & Sea's Acrylic ports.
Both the Sea & Sea Compact and NX Fisheye Dome Ports are plexi domes. They scratch easily, and exhibit a strong backwards roll. They are optically very good, though.
The Athena OPD-170 is 170mm (just under 7"), so it is nice and small. Optically, it is as good as the Sea & Sea NX Fisheye Port, and it is compatible with the popular fisheye lenses, 12-24, Sigma 14, Nikon 14, etc. The port exhibits perfect neutral buoyancy underwater, and is a great choice with the small DX-D50 hosuing. The glass is fancy ground, coated stuff, so there is nothing better from a light transmission standpoint, and is far more rugged than plexi ever can be.
