Think twice before you buy a Halcyon backup light. They are overpriced and under perform.

Essentially, it's a good (and overpriced) body with out of date components. You definitely don't want a Xenon bulb and they're leds as outdated as well.

The UK and Princton Tec stuff should be fine if you like plastic ligths with pistol grips.

If you're looking for something else you can find that too but GUE (I mean Halcyon) stuff is just overpriced and last years technology.

I agree about the Xenon bulb. Why anyone would buy a dive light with an incandescent bulb now is beyond me.

I build lights. And have built plenty of grunty hand helds and can lights at all sorts of price points.

But for the sub $100US price bracket the Intova range is really hard to beat.
