1G is about as big as I would want to go, but in shopping around for cards, they were the cheapest per Mb I could find (within my overall price range), so it's a bit of a tradeoff. But I do tend to use the smaller ones I have (512 Mb and 256 Mb) for dives and the larger one for topside.

I have a 52x Ridata 256 card, but have heard good things about Lexar as well.

I just wonder if you can actually see a whole lot of difference in speed?

I think for reliability I would go with either Lexar or Ridata, however I could be wrong. :slick:

I have just heard and read good things about these two brands, and not so good things about Sandisk.
