I have some u/w photos from a recent trip and need to try and make them look a little better. I do not have an underwater setup at this time, so am not looking to buy any software. Have looked at both and just need to know if one is better than the other or if they are about the same.

Thanks, I went ahead with Picasa after some in-depth reading on the GIMP website. It looked like the easier of the two and it did what I neede it to for now.
