Well, I found the Ikelite for my SD800is for $279 ($240 for Canon's) and decided for $40 I'd try it. Wow... talk about a difference. They aren't even in the same category. (IMHO)
I have a Canon housing for my old S100 and never had a problem so I wasn't unhappy but now comparing the two I see the differences. Ikelite's is like the I'm a Nationalo Geographic photographer version of Canon's I'm a weekend shutterbug.
Just got it last night so I haven't used it yet. SOON! (I hope) I am happy and glad I spent the extra $40.
