The Big Blue AFO 1x5 (250 lumens) does shut off during exposure. However if yiu shoot faster than about 1/100th of a sec. you'll never see the light anyway.

Any thoughts on the Ikelite Mini-C light?

I like the way it piggy backs onto the DS strobes...

Jack, I just read all of the free down loads on your site. They are very helpful for us newbies. Thank you so much. I'll be keeping an eye on your posts. I will also be checking your website as I shop for new photo gear. Which I hope will be a while. Need to become proficient with what I have first.
