We are looking at a Western Carrib. cruise (on Carnival Lines) starting
2/14/06 & I am looking for dive recommendations for the best two sites to
dive out of these four places:
Cozumel
Cayman Islands
Roatan Island, Honduras
Belize

Also......Any tips on how these cruise excursion dives work, what I should do/avoid,
etc.

Thanks

My two cents ..... We travel to AKR in Roatan almost every year and also a regular at the Sunset House in the Caymens.

Roatan:
I would highly recommend the dolphin dive at Anthony's Key Resort. Tons of fun and great chance to interact with dolphins in the open water. Check out their website for more info. And once you see the resort and meet the DMs you will forget the cruises and go there next year.
Dive Sites:
- Mary's Place (The best in Roatan)
- Spooky Channel (Great swim-throughs - very cool dive)

Grand Caymens:
- Big Tunnels (Cool swim-through - great wall dive)
- Orange Canyon - (Deep dive but the reef is incredible and almost always see some turtles).
If you haven't been to stingray city, I would also recommend this! A little cheesy but very cool to see huge stringrays. Bring your camara. I have several great pics of Pyscho the Moray swimming free.
