From memory it was camel, red sea college, emperors and some others
Anybody knows which others can use this jetty?
I am going as a tourist (!) with family and am checking who can use that jetty and which centers do half day boats

subex a swiss company, camel emporor and sinai divers i beleive,, i dive with subex and they do local trips which have 2 dives in the morning and 1 in the afternoon,, its usually 1 hour not or south,,ras nasrani ras bob and more north and then temple ras umm sid amporas ans many many more to the south,,,then there are ras mohammed trips and tiran trips that are a good bit further and u dont usually get home until 4 or 5 o clock,,but these are the really special places,,shark and yolanda reefs are excellent,,schooling unicorn fish and jacks and tons more to see then the wreck site of yolanda is class too,,i was amazed to see patterns on the wallpaper rolls,,and tons of life hiding in the toilets and bathtubs,,,a really memorable dive site

ive only dived with subex so far but im sure camel and such do similar day trips with a bit of variation on the dives sites, the naama bay jetty is really handy for the local sites plus its fairly easy to get to if ur staying in naama bay,,but if not naama bay u wil be given a lift there anyhow,,i do suggest the lido iberotel hotel if u have older family members or kids that plan to go on the boat with you,,it is the closest to the jetty,,a cpl of hundred feet

Camel, Red Sea College, Oonas, Sinai Divers, Emperor, Werner Lau, Ocean College, Subex and Anthias all use the Na'ama Bay Jetty as do the geographically mis-nomered African Divers (Sharm is technically in Asia); Other random muppets turn up from time to time.

It doesn't make a whole lot of difference to your day - it just depends on the length of the bus ride. For sure the big centres all do half-day local boats, so you can have a nice relaxed dive in the morning and have the afternoon off.... or a long sleep in and a nice afternoon dive, as you like.

Ras Mohamed and Tiran diving are usually full day trips regardless of whom you dive with but a half day "local" - that should be easily available.

Thanks for your help
I actually worked in Sharm in 2009. I am going holiday with the family at the Hilton Fayrouz that used to have sinai but now has Ocean College. I can't be bothered taking by equipment somewhere else so if Ocean College which is now at the hilton leaves from that jetty I will be good with them
Going to Tiran or RasMo from Naama is a pain but this time I am playing with my new compact video so am not sure am bothered more than going local.
How is the life though now that there are less divers?
