Hey there,

Yes....finally diving again. we will leave the 23th of april. For the first time I will be diving in sharm. Usually I go to hurghada but not this time. Does anybody know a good quality dive centre with good value for money.
I hope you guys can get me started because it will save us a lot of time searching for one...

Thanks, Capi

I love Sharm, although I wouldn't go there now with the problems in Israel, but that's simply my opinion.

A good diving centre is Sinai Dive Club at the Hilton Fayrouz (not to be confused with Sinai Divers, further on towards the town centre).

I haven't been there for about a year, but I found them professional, with prices in the average and nice boats and food.

You can contact them at: http://www.dive-club.com, e- mail: reservations@dive-club.com

I did my Medic First Aid, Rescue and Nitrox course with them, would recommend them to anyone, they have people speaking English, German, French, Italian, Japanese and Russian.

Just got back from Sharm, completed DM course with Ocean College. Highly recommended as a dive school and resort.

Don't get put off going to Sharm by the current situation; it's hundreds of miles away and there is no sign of any trouble/tension there. You see more guns on the streets of London. The locals are most welcoming and so is the water!

Hi Capi, was there 12 months ago and dived with a a company called Diving and Discovery, instructors were very good and friendly and spoke all languages for dive briefs. Also fantastic boat that will take 20+ divers, with sun decks/shade/freshwater showers and clean working toilets.also available is lunch at an extra charge. They opperate out of the hotel Club Fanara situated on ras um sid hill, and I know they collect from other hotels as they did so while we were there.Hope this helps, Triggerfish.
