Hello:

This one goes for the Cozumel experts... Which is/are the best day/s of the week in Cozumel in terms of "less crowded by cruisers"? Are there any days when there's NO cruise ship docked?

Im trying to plan ahead for my Coz dives and others in my group dont dive (but could do some snorkeling) and could go explore downtown Cozumel and the beaches while im at sea. We will be staying near PdC, and Im planning on going to Coz at least 2 days of our week stay this summer.

thanks

On sundays, there are usually no cruise ships in port on Cozumel. The middle of the week gets crowded. At times there may be seven or more pods at the piers. If you walk more than one block off Avenida Melgar (the frontage street) you will see very few cruisers.

and day that ends in DAY is a good day in Coz

summers are generally slower for cruise ships. You can find a cruise ship schedule posted on cozumelinsider.com, but they only post the current week.

The weekends are slow, to none, for the cruise ships in Cozumel. The reason is they leave dock in Florida, or Texas, or New Orleans, on Saturday's and Sunday's. It takes them a few days to get down to Cozumel, from most port cities.
But, as Mike said, everyday is a great day if you're in Cozumel.
