Which camera do you suggest I buy, Olympus Stylus Digital 410 or Canon A80?. It will be used, primarily, under water.

Have a look at dpreview.com for a direct comparison of these cameras.

Only you can decide which has the features that suit you the best!

Also do a seach for those two cameras here as that should pull up any current info. Check out LukeRob's gallery for what the Canon A70 (precursor to the A80) can do with lots of dedication and practice!! I think that there may be some Stylus shots (not sure the model) in justleesa's gallery.

I'm a Canon girl myself out of those two choices :wink:

I am new to diving and underwater photography but so far have found my Canon A80 to be outstanding for a newbie. I have also just added a Sea&Sea DX-90 strobe. There are some pics in my gallery and more at Family Diving Network
 
Between the two, A80, without a doubt. Full manual capable, CF card and AA batteries. BTW a 5 megapixel version of the A80 has been announced PowerShot A95 along with the WP-DC50 housing.
