which camera to buy?

Disagree: I use the A520 and it does have manual control for aperature as well as full manual control for f/stop, exposure, and iso plus lots of other features.

I'm just looking for the proper strobe!
 
Hmmm...it does look like both of those models DO have manual controls www.dpreview.com

Interesting - had a friend with a camera marked A510 and she did NOT have manual control of the aperture or shutter speed, only various program modes. Very strange, Rabbits!

It's a great little camera and I got it with the housing for around $500.

However, my BIG gripe is that currently there are NO lens attachments - such as WA or Macro. If I had known this I would have looked at another camera/housing option. It's a new camera and housing (April 2005 I think) so maybe something will come out in the future. I'd love a WA and Macro attachment.
