I use an Apeks brass SPG... I think they have them made in the same place as all the other guys as well... including the new Halcyon SPG. They all seem to be made in Italy... and Italy isn't that big a country ;) hehehe... <-that was just a joke.

Dunno about the PSI thing though, cuz I recently switched to BAR.
 
....I've been diving a Dive Rite SPG, which I've been very happy with....it's got 100 psi increments, which is perfect for calculating 'thirds' (used this SPG during my week of cave diving class in Akumal last Sept.).......however, I recently purchased 2 Halcyon SPG's, which are also in 100 psi increments, which I think I'm going to enjoy more, as they're easier to read in low light/visibility conditions. My Dive Rite SPG has the area between 0 psi and 700 psi shaded in dark red, and against this dark background the black SPG needle tends to disappear in poor light/visibility conditions....versus the Halcyon SPG, which has a white background across the entire psi range...it's much easier to see a black needle contrasted against a white background.
