Never heard of them. By the looks of the harness they're among that "also ran" group of manufacturers that make gear that looks like tech gear, but they don't actually know why they're doing what they're doing.

Amaranto is somehow connected to Soprassub , they share the same address and phone number. I expect they are well known in the Czech Republic. After a few minutes surfing there site, I will never look at a clownfish the same.

Looks like some sort of rubber cords on the wing --- pass, thanks.

Looks like it pulls the sides of the wing in when deflated so it doesn't taco around the tanks.

Instead of using a properly sized wing --- pass, thanks.

Hey Captain,

If you're even remotely considering that, why not save a few bucks and look at this instead?

$310 with an SS BP. Though, for use with steel doubles, I would probably go with the AL plate. And I would not plan on using it with steel 8" cylinders.

They told me their wing is the same as the Dive Rite Rec EXP wing, minus the bungees and with a solid center panel, instead of webbing.

I got the DR Rec EXP wing a few weeks ago (on closeout, so it was cheaper than the Gears wing). I did a few dives off West Palm with it and 2 long pool sessions. I like it better than my Halcyon Explorer 55 or OMS 60 wings. You're welcome to check it out/borrow it, if you want. Or my Halcyon or OMS wings. If you want to buy the Halcyon, I'll make you a GREAT deal on it.

There are many options with BP/Ws. You want to get a good one when you do. Of course, you want to get that good one at the best possible price, but you don't want to get an inferior one becuse it is a few dollars cheaper than the one you really want. Take your time shopping. Find the best one for you at the best price.

This should give you an idea of the range of package options available to you, but you can have more options if you don't buy a package:
