I don't know that I would base my decision just on that, depends on what kind of diving you are going to do.

Tropical warm water in a shorty? Pioneer 27 will do (can't speak to the Transpac since I don't know it) - If you can find an older batwing 18# even better.

Cold water with a drysuit? Pioneer 36 needed.

Need more info to base it solely on lift capacity

I said this because of his body and the lead he will need to submerge.
 
Thanskf or all of the advice guys. I was also wondegin fi you happened to have a price for these bc, as neither of the lds around my area have any of theses, and he quoted me some insane prices to get either of them in over !300(can) to get the bcs.
