I'm getting together the parts neccesary to assemble my first set of doubles and I'm slightly confused. I am doubling up 2 pst E-7 120's. I want to use HM bands. On their website, they say that not only do I have to tell them the diameter of my tanks, but also which manifold. Does that mean that they make diffrent bands for diifrent manifolds but for the same diameter? If this is the case, I bought six month ago a 200 bar Sea Elite manifold from divers supply. HM destinguishes Sea Elite manifolds by pre 2000 release and after 2000 release. Can some one tell me how to destinguish the two?

Seperatley, the isolator knob is a lot more tighter, turns less smoothly, and squeaks when the rubber rubs against the manifold. Is this fairly normal and can something be done to fix this?
Thanks, Stas

The best answer you're going to get to this question is to email Highland -- they'll probably ask you to take a measurement dip tube to dip tube with the crossbar screwed in all the way and give them the measurement...

Yes HM's will fit your manifold.

No idea about the rubbing...take off the knob and take a peek.

some manifolds will put your tanks father apart then others they ask so thay can make shour your tanks will fit in the band so thay are not to far apart to get in sins bands are formed like a flexable mold the part between the tanks can be 2 inch or 4inch the numbers are off the top of my head for an example
