Wow what a question! Cozumel, Mexico. . . clear water, thousands of divers to dive with and party with. . . No, Lake Tenkiller, Oklahoma, not so clear water and hundreds of divers to party with. . . No Possum Kingdom lake Texas so so water viz and hundreds of divers. . . No Lake Travis Texas with a couple of hundred divers. . . No, Lake Eufala, Oklahoma, with a couple dozen divers. . . No, Lake Caddo on the Texas, Louisiana border with a dozen other divers, hunting in the winter for alligator gar.

Maybe, the best place to dive is where you and a dive buddy are at, and can relive the details of the dive, at the end of a good day, any day of diving is a good day, and 5 foot of viz is better than sitting on the top, not diving. :D
