Where'd our avatars go??

Am I missing something, or is everyone's avatar gone?? ... Or is this part of April Fool's? lol. I tried resetting my saved avatar and also changed the fish, but they seem to just come out as random - even in diferent posts on the same thread. I looked around to see if there was an update or notice of change, but found nothing. Don't mean to hijack the scuba discussions with this, but I was curious and I'm guessing at least a few others are too.
