Okinawa Japan, east china sea, kadena north steps. Visiting my daughter whose husband is in the marine corp. I have been back several times would go back again if I could afford the airfare.

Did a discovery scuba dive in Curacao. Got hooked, came home signed up for next available classes and completed 10 weeks later. Did my OW dives in Nassau Bahamas, dove with Stuart Coves. Was awesome, but not a good as Curacao was.

My first Dive was off West Palm Beach Florida At a Place they called Cable crossing,It was Great but what i remember best was my freinds wife freaking out because she thoght a shark would attack her.
The dive instructor had to rescue her .
her eyes were totally black and she was in some kind of shock ,like she was in another place.
She never went diving in the Ocean again, although she did dive in the springs in upstate Florida.

I took a resort course in Aruba, went on 2 dives. The best memory was swimming through a school of bait-fish and they formed a tunnel around me! I was hooked after that, came back home and signed up for PADI classes!
