where to stay marsa alam

HI all

I'm planning to do a liveaboard in the southern red sea in the first week of November.

I've a few days to spare on either side of the liveaboard.. Anyone have any suggestions for somewhere to stay?

It'll need to be along the coast, prob Marsa Alam. Just want somewhere to relax, swim, snorkel, maybe windsurf if possible..

If anyone has an ideas let me know.

Have a look at the tiny hotel www.riff-villa.ch in Marsa Alam. Last reports were positive.
Don`t go to the Kahramana. The Egyptian owner Mr. Ahmed Balbaa destroyed part of the coastal reef in front of his hotel last year and is boycotted by responsible divers. You may find the full HEPCA-report on their web.
