I am planning to visit Philippines this year for maybe 1 to 3 weeks. The duration of stay will depend on if I want to go visit another country or not.
If I stay for 2 weeks min. I do plan to get a couple of courses done.

I will be traveling solo, so I am also looking for a very inexpensive place to stay. When I go diving and also when I am in the city, exploring. So any homestay, guest house information would also be great full.

I am wondering when is it the best time to go?
What are the best dive sites that are a "must see"
I do plan to go and stay at Boracay and hoping another location.

For Boracay I am thinking of using www.save-money-diving.com

There is great diving in Sabang beach, Puerto Galera. Verde island here is world class dive site.
It is easy to get to from Manila-bus+ferry
Rooms can be had for 500p
You can get dives for 1100p.
Check out Frontier scuba, they are a very good op.

Boracay is usually described as average diving.
