Looking for some suggestions on where to go in Nov. Will have around 3 weeks (maybe a bit longer). Land based or live-aboard. Looking to dive for about a week. Not interested in muck diving.

One of many options...

A week on the PH liveaboard in Belize
A week in land at San Ignacio doing activities such as the ATM cave and Tikal.
A few wrap up days on Ambergris Caye relaxing before the long trip home!

What kind of budget? With 3 weeks you have lots of options, many places in the Carribean or if you can absorb the airfare, have you thought about going to the Pacific/Indian Ocean. Philippines are cheaper and mostly land based but are more focused on smaller animals; Palau, more pelagic and you can go land based or liveaboard; Thailand if later in the month, a liveaboard rather than day boat. If you really want to go for it, Raja....

with 3 weeks I would be looking at Indo-Pacific destinations. But I agree Belize is a good place to spend a few weeks and do a variety of stuff. Your options really depend on your budget.

Some of the best diving in the Pacific is on Okinawa in November. Typhoon season has passed water is still quite warm and its slow season so hotels and flights are cheaper.
