Where to go diving in late December (not too cold)

We're looking for a place to go diving in the last few weeks of December. We've been to Roatan, Caymans and Bahamas before and want to try something new. Since we live in Florida and are spoiled by south Florida weather, we'd like to try someplace warm which rules out the Bahamas ever again in December.

Someplace not too expensive and a mix of shore and boat diving would be best. We've thought about Cozumel but the water looks to be rather chilly.

Bonaire is nice year round.

Or Curacao, same diving as Bonaire with more topside attractions. And a direct flight from Miami.

I agree with sjspeck, curacao has warm water all year round,and has direct(not too expensive) flights from miami.

The best place for you to dive is Curacao. The weather is warm and Curacao offers cristal clear blue water and lots of places to dive.

Add Aruba to the list! They are all excellent choices and about the same latitude!

December: A good diving experience with cool water temperature, and on a warm island that has to offer good accommodations, would definetely be Curucao. A nice site that I can recommend you that is really calm is Daai-Booi.

Hi Floridasungirl, I would recommend you to come visit CURACAO, a warm place, natural and beautiful beaches and not expensive. When you are here, go visit Sea-Aquarium and our beaches like, Kenepa, Daai-Booi etc.
