Well its only 4 days until I leave for Bonaire. My question is after a day of diving that night if I'm not doing a night dive wheres a good place to go out? Im staying at buddy dive so I don't know if there are any good places in walking distance

Be sure to catch Buddy's free rum punch party on Friday at about 6PM also Buddies Bar isn't bad. Capt Don's bar isn't too bad and it's walking distance from Buddys.

The more social watering holes that we have found are down town and include Karel's Beach Bar and the Havana Cigar Bar. These are about a mile and a half walk. There are also the Casinos, Plaza and Divi. Of the two, I would recommend Divi. It is just south of downtown and probably two or two and a quarter miles from Buddys. If you don't get a car, think about a bike or scooter to get to and from downtown

You can also enjoy the Pizza and Rum Punch Party with Moogie on Monday nights at Captain Don's Habitat. They also do a "week in review" with some great pictures! The nightlife on Bonaire usually doesn't start up until late, but take a cab into town one night, enjoy an Amstel or 2 at Karel's Bar. Both Karel's Bar and City Cafe usually have live music on the weekends. Liz

Wow, I'll be in Bonaire at the same time and we live pretty close to eachother... wierd. I am randomly tagging along with a big group from Nashville (don't know any of them) but shoot me a PM with your contact info and maybe we can get together for a coldie after a full day of day of diving. I can't wait to go!!

Wonder is JSmith89 went wity Gypsy's from Raleigh. They are doing a Bonaire trip that week.

If so, Laura will take good care of him (no - not in that way!)

The one "in town". It's off the beaten path, north of the plaza and takes a little looking for, but there are signs. Be sure and do the rum punch party on Thursday 530PM. Bob and Bart, the owners, are cool.

Also Bongo's at Eden Beach. Nice atmosphere right on the beach to watch the sunset.
