Where to Get my DM certification

Hi there,
I am right now finishing up my last semester of college and have decided to get my dive master certification after I graduate with the intent of working at a dive shop afterward. I was thinking of going back to the dive shop in Thailand where I originally got my ow and advanced diver certs because I had a great experience with the staff there, but I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations of where to go or feelings on the subject of getting a certification?
Also if you have any recommendations about good places to work as a dm I would love all the advice I can get!

If you are free to go wherever you like, then maybe Thailand is right for you. I have heard mixed reviews of doing this - but most of the people who go to Thailand seem to have good things to say about it.

Other than that - I would say go to an instructor you trust and do an internship - perhaps work for shop you trust while interning for DM.

The diving in Thailand is down a bit just now after the troubles they have had but the Philippines is coming up now so why not check out the webb sites and try to get fixed up here!

sounds great thanks for your advice! I will definitely look into the Philippines. could you guys tell me what the difference between a dm certification course and internship is? I am guessing you get more experience with the internship?
