Hello,

My dive buddy and I will be in L.A. from 02/19 - 02/26 with our families. We "may" be able to get a dive in.

Is the diving good this time of year around the L.A. area? If so, any recommendations on where and/or who to dive with?

We are not going to take our gear so we will have to rent as we are not even sure if a dive is going to be possible. We could pack wet suits if we had to.

Any advise is greatly appreciated.

Hi Scott,

Check out http://www.southcoastdivers.com/SOCDC We dive ALL THE TIME, several days during the week and at night too! We dive locally here in Laguna Beach. There is a dive shop just up the street from one of the coves where you can rent equipment. We have some great reefs off of our coast. Another idea, would be to go to Catalina to Casino Point (protected dive park). See the Catalina Sticky on that. I would be happy to go out and dive with you. PM me for my number. Where will you be staying? I live in Anaheim. I have a famous mouse for a neighbor!

Jan, Thank you for the reply. I will send you a PM.

We are staying at the Centruy Plaza in Century City. This is mostly a family vacation but in true diver fashion my buddy and I are looking to get wet. :crafty:
