As I knew that PADI can check the teaching status on their offical web site, may I know SDI has the same function?

This is for checking for recreational cert cards, not for checking professional or teaching status.
The easiest way to get info from SDI is the chat feature on the website. It's been available from about 9AM to 5PM Eastern time...
If the instructor can teach any technical class for TDI, you can search the TDI instructor locator. TDI instructors are also SDI instructors.
Lastly, you could ask the instructor to send you a verification letter. Those are available from the members section.
