I want to by a Suunto Mosquito computer. What is a good online store that is reliable and will carry warranty?

For a complete maunufactures warranty, you cannot buy from the "cheap" online stores.
If want the full warranty, save the headaches and visit your local Suunto dealer.

From what I know, you can't get a warranty if you buy a Suunto computer over the Internet. If you want want, You'll have to get it from a dive store which is a Suunto authorized dealer.

:)

Although I have never purchased a computer from them I have had good luck with regulators from http://www.scubastore.com. I believe they are an authorized Suunto Distributor so the warranty would be valid. However I suggest that you email them with your specific concerns, they have always been quick to answer my questions in the past.

and decide on how much it is worth to you. AquaLung has details on their website of the factory (US) warranty. The leading mail-order retailers also supply their own warranties that are claimed to be equivalent to factory warranty.

I'd almost certainly buy the computer link through mail order (diveinn seems to have the best prices right now on both the Mosquito and the interface kit).

Be aware that eBay may be an attractive source, but most of the Mosquitos I saw there are actually being sold by leisurepro with bids at their retail price. The nice thing about a dive computer is that if someone claims it has never been on a dive the computer itself will confirm or deny this. I was lucky enough to find one there that was unused at a reasonable price (with the interface).

The potential savings are about $100 on a $400 device. You can still dive if it craps out with a watch and depth gauge. Are the chances of that 1 in 4?
