Yes, the UW can be good idea if the picture shows enough of the ecosystem and/or wreck. I'm curious of the next picture. Or somebody can start a new thread: UW where is it?:)

Good point Che, there was a name that wreck site going for a while.

If I were to post a photo of a Reef Shark it could be anywhere.

Topside shots give clues that UW shots wont, If we ban the use of Google Image Search, then we can use photos with more distinctive landmarks?

I don't use Google image search but if somebody does no one can't ban it.:) It isn't that problem for me, I like to see the photos, read the guess and the clues, and like to search more informations about the specific places. I learnt a lot already. For me it's not about winning but sharing photos-I confess for me it would be as nice to read a thread where everybody would post a pic of a place,a wreck, tell some clues, and later write a bit more about. I think I had more than 100 dives in Egypt or Croatia but hasn't ever been to the Caribbean or Canada so everything I see from there is interesting.

Re Google image search - I also don't use it, and have just used Google Earth trying to recognise places.

This 'guess where' game is just for fun and pass a few minutes (while stuck in work !!) , so I'd say it is up to the individual to decide what they post a picture of, land, sea, or person - but it has to be not too obscure, such as a reef shark !!

Augk, ..... you are keeping us waiting, so here is one especially for you .. If I win next time, I'll hand my turn to you !!!

So where is this cousin of Augk Pelican taken ?
