I bought a Zeagle Express tech and 2 xs Weight pouches (non velco) I'm wondering where on the cam band do I attach them? do i put one on each band. I tried by undoing the buckle and put them on that but both seem to only go to one side. does that make it un-ballanced?

Anyone have pics? or any ideas?

I put my pouches on the waist belt webbing 2 and the shoulder to waist webbing on the chest 2. If I put them on the cam bands my center of gravity is to high and I want to turn turtle. If you put them on the cam bands you have to take the cam band off of the bc put one pouch on buckle side thread it back on to the bc and install the one on the other side. Its not hard just kind of tedious.
If you still have questions I can post some pics.

thanks. Pics would be greatly appreciated! Going to a pool tomorrow to test so i'd like to have the setup before i hit the pool.

You need to reverse one of the cambands to out them on there. That way you can get them close to the backpack on either side. I would not put any more on mine. I prefer to use a belt for weight on the waist.

Here's some pics. The pouches on the chest are the detachable Velcro XS Scuba pouches. The two larger pouches on the waist band are the rear trim pouches from my Ranger. I need 22# when I dive here in Minnesota in my Farmer John.

Ok thanks! that is what I did. I dive with no wets uit (though i just bought a .5mm suit) so this should be enough last time I was using 2lbs total with no suit and rental gear. Thought with my new setup (apex flight, nakes spg, mi flex hoses) i might need more weight.

Thanks for the pics!

How much weight do you put in the ditchable pockets? I stuffed 12 in each side for a shallow dive that I didn't worry about losing lbs. But I had to compromise the full velcro overlap to do this.
Thanks OND

I use 5 # in each of the XS scuba Quick Release pockets on the waist band, 3 or 4# in the Zeagle pouches on the waist band and 3 or 2# in each of the XS Scuba velcro Quick Attach Pockets on my chest to equal 22#.

I have found that the XS Scuba Velcro Quick Attach pockets need to be zip tied through the weight pocket and around the webbing or through a keeper unless they are held in place by the tank when they are on a cam band. I lost one on the first ocean dive in Roatan due to a DM pulling on it changing weights: now they are zip tied on to the chest strap.

Zeagle now makes trim pouches similar to the XS Scuba pouches, SHOULDER TRIM WEIGHT POUCHES that hold 2# each and have several ways of attaching them.

Hope this helps
