Need recommendation for a dive shop to service my reg (Sherwood). How much it should usually cost? Also need reccomendation for a good dive shop. Interested in the following brands: Aqualung, Mares, Apeks. Toronto/GTA.
TIA.

Diving Technologies in central Toronto is a full service repair depo. they do not sell or buy scuba gear, they just work on equipment both sport and heavy commercial gear. ROV's, scooters and compressors.

Cheers

Are they new and where are they located? Funny I mentioned the idea of opening a high quality repair depot independent of a shop to some guy on here called DMI last summer. I wonder if he took the idea and ran with it.

I don't know about being poisonous but we can get real angry and bite fingers and toes off if provoked. Check out the bottom two photos here, one a mug shot and the other a guy that was just in my face a little too much

There are lots of good Regulator techs out there, pm me and I will put you in touch with some one in your area of proven ability.

Most regulators have their warrenties void if you do not use a factory certified person do the work, some manufactors will only authorize resellers to do the work also.

Let me know when you find a place
I've visited few diveshops during this weekend.
1. Waterline was closest to my home, but the prices for service were high. Features Scubapro, Mares, Sherwood, Aqualung. Pricey
2. Scuba 2000. Service was few times cheaper than Waterline. Do not like their inventory. Pricey, but cheaper than Waterline. Used them for service.
3. Aquarius. Very good inventory, which includes Scubapro, Apeks, Aqualung, Mares, Poseidon, Seaquest. Prices are much cheaper than the first two.
4. I also visited the site of Divesource. The inventory is less expensive than Aquarius and the prices are more or less the same.
