where do you keep your Whistle

Where do you put it. In BC pocket or on hose to BC or where?

I keep mine on a small retractable attached to the outside of my BC for emrg. use!

See, that's kind of funny. My logic was the other way around:

Because it's precisely for emergency use, I DON'T mine on the outside of my gear where it would be likely to be an entanglement hazard or get lost - because what good is a whistle if it's lost? I keep mine in my drysuit pocket, tied to a boltsnap and attached to a bungee loop.
 
I have mine attached to my safety sausage in a pocket - i would only need it when in the ocean (ie not springs) so why not put them together.

I did not mention that the outside whistle I spoke of is my primary and a second one is in my BC pocket clipped secure.
