I wanted to upgrade my Halcyon 10w HID light canister with a new one from Dan over at Stealth Diver but when I went to his web site I found out he is closing up shop. He is selling off what he has left but that doesn't have what it would take to make a complete unit. Does anyone know where I could find a way to upgrade with a similar product?

Well, Halcyon would be an obvious answer. You can also go to Howard Sandroff (Sandho on TDS). He makes the whole range, I believe.

How would one get in touch with Mr. Howard Sandroff? I am not familiar with TDS.

Here's his email address: Howard Sandroff <sndf@uchicago.edu>

TDS is www.thedecostop.com An excellent resource for technical diving and information.

CEE in High Springs had some stealth canisters and batteries when I was there Thursday. They've been there for a while, not too many DIY canister light types out there I guess.
