need to know what battery the scuba pro G2 takes and where to get one. It's out of warranty and I'll be doing the replacement myself

I would check out Scubapro Galileo2 (G2) Battery Change
and then in terms of the actual battery itself get exactly the same battery you see in the computer from a battery company, as opposed to dive company.
Just my two cents without having that specific computer (and people get away with reusing o-rings on computer battery changes but it's simply not worth it in my opinion given how cheap o-rings are...).
