I am going diving with a group of friends probably the last week in March, maybe the first of April. We cannot decide where to go. The favourite option is Dahab. However, does anyone have any alternative suggestions. As we are flying from UK we don't want to go much further than Egypt. Thanks.

Well I am not to sure where to go in that area but if you ever deside to go to the western Caribbean we would live to have you in Old Providence.

What about Sharm? Maybe Maldives?

from the UK, most people do go to the Red Sea area as it is closer than the Caribbean. But I would suggest you look into going to Bonaire or Curacao, Netherlands Antilles (lots and lots of Europeans there) and also Playa del Carmen, Mexico (also a big tourist destination for Europeans). Both areas have diving and they must be reasonable $$$ to get there or there wouldn't be so many people from UK, Germany, Netherlands, etc.
