When I flew through Changi Airport in Singapore last month I saw a Eneloop fast charger that would charge 4 eneloops in 1 hr. I promptly bought one. It came with a cigarette lighter attachment too. That has worked fine for me. I wish I had two but these things were expensive. I use both the fast and slow chargers together when I travel. I also bring enough spares to hold me over between charging times if desperate.
I like CUunderH2O's idea of numbering the batts. It's too late now though.
