At home, it's occasionally a good microbrew but more usually a glass of wine.

In Mexico, it's TWO margaritas. TWO, not three. (The problem with the second margarita is that it makes the third one look like a good idea.)

1 cold beer after the last dive of the day. Occasionally a second one, but never more than that. That is, until the last dive of the trip is over, and then, time to rehydrate in earnest. It is a universal truth that no beer ever tasted better than when consumed immediately after a beautiful ocean dive. Facts are facts, and that's a fact. Even if you don't like beer, a beer after a dive is something you will like. That too is a fact.

Immediately after the dive? I'm generally so parched from sucking tank air, I'm drinking a bottle or two of water before audible conversation is an option.

Once back in PedestrianLand? Two drink limit - be it g&t, rum&coke, Irish neat, beer, or any combination thereof. I'm awful dern picky about my beer, though.

I hydrate immediately post-dive. Après dive (evening) is Gin & Tonic. (yes, I do live in a malaria infested country... LOL)

Good, cold beer after diving for the day (prefer the Guinness Stout). Gatorade in between dives.
