After reading this topic, I purchased a bottle of Cactus Juice spray ($3.99 for 6 fl. oz.) from my local department store. The phrase, "not a chemical repellent" didn't sound promising but after trying it among friends who were using Deep Woods Off while camping this past weekend I became a convert. They continued to get bit and I was bite-free despite the fact that I always seem to be target #1 for bugs. For me it ranks as the best thing to come out of Texas in a long time (veiled political comment).
