hello everyone. i'm a newbie looking forward to diving alot of different locals. If anyone could give me some tips on some good cold water gear, it would be much appreciated. thanks

I am a newer diver and just went on my first wrek diving trip in
Lake Superior. I have a DUI wetsuit and undergarments....
an OMS BCD and I have heard nice things about the Proton Ice reg.

Go to a dive shop and make those people work for their money!
Maybe you can rent some gear to check it out before you buy it
as well. It can get pricey so I would make sure you reallllly like
what you get.... you don't want to buy twice if you don't have too.
Dry Suits last a loooong time too.

thanks, I have not done much research on BC's or ice regs so the input is greatly appreciated. I would to love to buy a dui suit, but cash is limited, I know they have that dive for a year program going, but we have no dealers up here.

welcome aboard
