I think it's related to the Sea star, but don't now what it is exactly, looking for more of a common name rather than the scientific name.

AND, does any body have an online source for IDing sea life like this? ie. non-fish stuff?

Humann & Deloach have a book - "Reef Creature Identification" that covers the non-fish denizens you might see in the caribbean.
Your picture, as previously ID'ed, is a Feather Star, in particular a Golden Crinoid.
