a 72cf tank and an 80cf... if you did exactly the sames dive with each tank, how much longer can you dive with the 80cf...is it such a big dif?

Well, I figured it up using an excel spreadsheet from the 'SAC Rate' thread, and with my SAC rate, it would be a difference of 8 minutes at 50 feet....not much.all4scuba05:around here i've only been diving 40-50 max...so it seems that like you said, big difference...considerably more dive time with 80

Wristshot:The answer would be that you would last about 10% longer with the larger tank.
all4scuba05:my choice was a 72steel vs an 80 aluminum...with the 80 being $100 more...i've made up my mind...thankyou guys
