I meet a buddy of mine at the Rec Center pool. I'm there to test-dive my Dive-Rite BC, since putting shorter shoulder straps and cummerbund on it. She's there to practice her skills. I hook my gear up and then inflate the wing and boot it over the side. I look up just in time to ask her if she's inflated her BC. She assures me that she has. She tosses it over the side and it immediately sinks like a stone. What the...? Good grief... I'm laughing myself silly, and the look on her face is just priceless. She tries to snorkel down to it so she can hit the inflator button, but she runs out of air, so I get my wing and straps situated, pop my reg in my mouth, and go down and inflate it and bring it to the surface. LOL

I said, "Well, good thing this didn't happen off of the boat, in 1,000' of water! LMAO

I thought this was going to be one of those little brown plastic prank things....I know some people that took one into a pool class and then let it float around just to watch people's faces......SO imature. But you would have loved it, Frank.

Yep, I know the look. I used to see it a lot when at-pacs were popular and people were donning them in the water when diving off of boats. Funny to watch, but not so fun to experience. ;)
