Hi,
I'm a newbie diver, been to Koh Tao once, and really enjoyed it.
I work too hard as a self employed DJ/events organiser and try to go away each Jan/Feb.
This year I'd like to go somewhere where I can stay relatively cheap in a hostel or similar, take a refresher course and enjoy amazing diving. I'm open to anywhere in the world.
Any ideas?
Thanks,
Adam

Hi Adam.
Welcome to scubaboard.

If your happy to stay in a hostel you can pretty much go anywhere you want in my experience.

Scroll through the main board to see the sub forums for different parts of the world. I'd say Thailand would be a good bet, or closer to home maybe Egypt( cheaper flight)

You may want to take a look at Fiji as well. The diving can knock your socks off in a lot of places, there are a ton of hostel/backpacker type places that can be done cheaply and the 2-1 exchange rate doesnt hurt at all. Plus, everyone speaks English.

I am not sure but I expect that Coz could be done on the cheap too if a guy knew any locals to point him in the right direction.
