What's going on in this picture?

Do I see trees in the upper left of the pic, and waves in the lower left corner? could it be some sort of reflection of the surface into the turbulence of the flow?

The green is probably some low growing plant life that lives at the entrance to the cavern. Light was entering the area that I was in because I was right near the opening but I doubt trees would be recognized in reflection. Attached is a shot looking up out of the opening.

iew... I didn't even think about the huge boil on the surface killing any chance of seeing the topside world un-obscured.
