What wrist do you strap your dive computer on?

I always assumed that I would strap it to my left arm, like a watch. However a friend just told me that strapping it to your right, allows you to keep an eye on it while operating the power inflater. I guess I never really thought about it.

Anyone have any other opinions to share?

I'm a lefty, so I naturally strapped it to the right (like my watch).

I am not following that one. I use my left hand to work the power inflater because myright hand is usually carrying the float ball or something. Not sure it really matters, just what works for your situation.

well you need to wear it on the right
- when you are doing your 3/15 you might have to adjust your boyance and lifting you might lift your arm to high and set the computer to restart the 3min count down. sunnto's are really picky on boyance and if you rise to high just enough.
- easer to read when dumping air from wing.

Left (at least before the wrist band broke) because my right hand holds my video camera.

Left and it's a Suunto. I haven't experienced the problem that Cap'n Caveman is talking about. Basically all of my timers, computers, arm mounted gages, etc. are mounted on my left arm.

Agree with the "left wrist" school of thought. It is just because I too operate my hose with my left hand. It is a long one and I can hold up hose and see computer at same time. This leaves my right hand for whatever.....carry something....grab someone....
